Every month, over 7 million females miss 4 to 5 days of school, sport, varsity or work because of the lack of access to sanitary products in South Africa. In our schools, young ladies miss a total of 240 million school days in a calendar year.

The ability to manage menstruation with adequate dignity is essential to the human rights of a woman.

At Grow with Flo, we believe that every girl deserves the freedom to learn, play and grow — every day of the month. That’s why we’re proud to support the MENstruation Foundation, an incredible organisation working to end period poverty in South Africa.

Together, we’re ending period poverty.

The MENstruation Foundation installs sanitary pad dispensers in schools and community centres, ensuring that no girl has to miss school because she doesn’t have access to pads.

We’ve joined forces with them to make a difference:

For every girl who attends a Grow with Flo workshop, we donate a pack of 10 pads to help fill the Foundation’s dispensers.
We also sell soothing heat packs, with 100% of profits going directly to the MENstruation Foundation’s initiatives.
